For the sixth year in a row, the Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) is running its ‘12 Days of Christmas’ (#12days) eBay auction. Held from the 12th – 23rd November, the charity is offering a unique chance to bid on exclusive celebrity items, luxury experiences, and limited-edition art while supporting a great cause.
Last year, 999 was asked to help develop creative assets to support this annual auction on the theme of ‘25 artists for 25 years’ to celebrate the charity’s landmark quarter century anniversary. A huge success, it garnered the best results of any previous RFUK eBay campaign.
As a result, we were asked to be a part of it again this year, developing a mix of creative outputs to help promote the #12days campaign and the incredible array of arty auction prizes up for grabs!
We created a series of flyers focusing on the individual artists’ work as well as a main flyer that features all 20 donating artists. Artworks include limited-edition pieces from renowned artists such as Robb Wass, James Marsh and Patrick Hughes. Celebrity donations are from Michael Palin, Lenny Henry, Sir Ralph Fiennes, Sting and Conor Maynard.

In addition to this, we also created a series of banners for RFUK to use across their social media sites and eBay auction page. From hand-drawn and signed Christmas cards by Lenny Henry, Michael Palin and Conor Maynard, to an autographed copy of Stephen Fry’s new book, it really is a fantastic opportunity for ethical shoppers searching for gifts that make a difference.
