Project Clients: Davidson Asset Management

Davidson Asset Management (DAM) is a specialist group of independent financial advisers who work with UK employers to deliver advice on employee benefits packages. DAM commissioned 999 Design to rebrand their company website which was difficult to navigate and visually unappealing on mobile devices.

The focus of the rebrand project was to create a website that would differentiate DAM from its competitors and challenge perceptions of a traditional financial services company. DAM aspired to having a more approachable identity with a real personality in order to engage more deeply with their clients and prospects.

999 Design created a fresh new visual identity for the DAM website using a striking combination of red, black, grey and white to create a more contemporary look and feel. The colour palette combined with photographs of 'real people' created a more personal impression overall. By playing on the word 'DAM' - 'Pensions worth giving a DAM about' - the tone of voice felt more human and relaxed than the most other asset management brands.

To meet the requirements of clients 'on the move', the site was built to be fully responsive for mobile and tablet with an intuitive navigation and clean design on all browsers. Social media was integrated into the site along with a company blog and a newsletter sign-up option. This helped create a more interactive and engaging experience while aiding search optimisation and client data capture.
