Project Clients: The Hebridean Celtic Festival

The multi-award winning Hebridean Celtic Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary this July in Stornoway. Having worked with the unique music event for several years, we were honoured to play a part in their special milestone birthday celebrations.

Developing the existing look and feel, our design route focused on the number 20 to highlight the landmark event in the festival's history. We applied the new logo and visual identity to a host of marketing and advertising collateral including subway posters, digital media, pass cards, fake tattoos, merchandise and, for the first time, reusable eco-cups.

Lewis Macintyre, Design Director in Glasgow said: We've been working with HebCelt for nearly ten years now so we almost feel like part of the festival family. However for this year's anniversary we wanted to mark the occasion with something momentous. The 20th brand identity has been adopted really well by festival goers, the Hebridean community, staff and volunteers alike, complimenting the boldness of the colour scheme in particular. As predicted the cups were very popular - after all, festivals are thirsty work!
