Project Clients: The University of Glasgow
After a competitive pitch process, 999 was selected as the lead agency on the University of Glasgow’s ‘Complex Brand and Design Services Framework’.
It’s been an exciting year to date, from campaign work and messaging through to developing the overarching visual identity and brand-led environments.
The University approached 999 to create a profile-raising campaign during the 2014 Commonwealth Games when the city of Glasgow was firmly on the world map.
Our task was to develop the messaging and contemporary visuals to appeal to a local and international audience for roll out across outdoor collateral and transport hubs thorough out the city.
Our headlines played on the sports theme and served as editorial hooks to tell a deeper story about the University’s current research activity, demonstrating the University’s position amongst the leading players in its field:

The campaign was a huge hit internally and paved the way for a number of other high-profile campaigns.
