
Heal's has, since its foundation in 1893, boasted a distinctive character and reputation for innovation.
The constantly updated stores and merchandise make it an inspirational and enjoyable place to shop for the home. With this in mind, when we were tasked with creating a new coding system and design for their range of duvets and pillows, we had to think outside the box.
The existing system was dull and confusing for staff to implement and needed a complete strategic rethink. In order to uphold Heal's reputation for quality and creativity we were asked to inject some personality into the packaging in order to make it more eye catching.
By using an easy to follow system of stickers that helped to readily distinguish between products, the solution was simplicity itself. With the introduction of a new colour palette and graphic icons, shoppers were easily navigated through the once complicated range of fillings, weights, sizes and tog values.
A universal box and bag design was implemented throughout the entire range, with Heal's staff applying the relevant stickers to the appropriate box, making the task so much easier and straightforward.
