Cavendish Communications, a privately-owned, business telecoms company based in East Sussex, wanted to establish a greater presence within the London region. They had limited marketing expertise in-house, so we worked closely with the brand's sales team to establish their marketing objectives, target audience and develop the strategic and creative brief prior to beginning our design work.
The campaign was aimed at a business audience who had no prior knowledge of Cavendish. The campaign had to position the brand and showcase their offer.
The design solution took the shape of a 'Member's Club', reflecting a quietly confident, client-focused approach. We created teaser and reveal HTML emails and a direct mail piece which incorporated a personalised membership card complete with a butler representing the brand’s attentive, personalised service. The DM campaign was followed up with telemarketing and the results were impressive. 18% of those contacted requested more information and within 6 weeks of the launch, the client confirmed that sales generated as a direct result of the campaign had exceeded expectation.
