Political Mash-up

We were approached by Communicate Magazine to look at a series of spoof briefs (no pun intended) that react to current news stories and recent events. With election season looming they asked us to deliver our thoughts for how a logo might look if a coalition government formed in the wake of a hung parliament.

The little design devils that we all have tucked away deep in our subconscious took up this challenge with gusto. What would our government look like if they were the ultra elite, one unified group ruling with dignity and diligence? Would they be the ultimate luxury brand or would it just be one big lads' holiday? You make your own mind up. We think our work here is done.

BA & Iberia Merger

When the story broke that the UK and Spain's flagship airlines were on the brink of a momentous merger, we were the first people Communicate Magazine turned to. Their brief was simple, how on earth do you combine two of the world's greatest aviation brands? This, we decided, needed to be approached with caution, there was no way 999 was taking the flack for next BA re-brand disaster.

We asked ourselves, what makes us British? And how do you define a Spaniard? After a cup of tea and quick nap under our sombreros we set to work. Our responses took no prisoners, no one was safe, even the Queen couldn't escape our white hot wit.
