Hebridean Celtic Festival '08

The Hebridean Celtic Festival, now attracting an audience of over 17,000 revellers and musical enthusiasts, contributes massively to the culture and tourism of the Western Isles and is now hailed as an essential musical pilgrimage by many a savvy festival goer.

As sponsors of this event for the past couple of years we are annually challenged to create a fresh poster campaign for the event.

Discussing this years approach over a dram we proceeded to scare the bejezzus out of ourselves with myths of Storm Kelpies. And when we finally stopped we set about bringing it all to life, imagining a scene where a column of performers are being expelled from the dark foreboding in an explosive sonic wave hurtling towards the northern lights! by god, that whisky's a helluva thing.

Anyway from this image we then produced the numerous posters, flyers, postcards, souvenir programmes and advertising for the event.

Luckily, no ships or souls were lost in the process but we did lose
an important set of proofs to the courier faeries!
