Brand launch

We were delighted to embark on comprehensive brand launch for a new initiative comprising the West Coast Malt Whisky distilleries and their strategic partners in the leisure and travel industry. Primarily targeting the overseas and corporate market, the aim was to overtake similar whisky trails and position the west coast as the premier destination for whisky in Scotland.

With such a wealth of historic distilleries and idyllic scenery, not to mention the occasional dram for research purposes, we got off to a flying start. We renamed the trail 'The Whisky Coast' and, alongside the exquisite dram, we capitalised on the stunning, dramatic landscapes for the campaign theme 'Taste the Dram[a]'.

The Whisky Coast continues to attract visitors to savour world class whisky and encourages them to stay longer, exploring the best of west coast. The initiative is well on its way to helping the local tourism industry achieve its 50% growth ambition by 2015. Slainthe Mhath!
