'08/09' Concert Season Campaign

The BBC National Orchestra, the only professional symphony orchestra in Wales and highly acclaimed for the quality of its performances, is regarded as a national treasure within the community.

We were flattered to be asked to create the campaign to launch its '08/'09 concert season, but there was a tough challenge ahead.

How do we attract a new younger audience and drive up ticket sales without alienating the existing audience? This, alongside the need for all materials to be bi-lingual too.

Our response was to concentrate on celebrating the beauty of the various musical instruments within the orchestra and allow the imagery to interact beautifully with the typography.

The result is a simple, yet beautiful suite of work.
