Four months on from launch, overall organic traffic increased by 26% in comparison to previous year. Like for like organic traffic increased by 80% from same month of the previous year. Increase in organic transactions of 110%. Conversion increase through social media channels by 506%. Facebook fan increase of 261%.
The current site was underperforming. Tasked with developing the online brand to drive sales and attract a wider audience required a seamless online retail function with a strong visual style. Bringing the unique island heritage to life was essential as was creating a more engaging, interactive customer experience to reposition the brand.
Broadening the brand's appeal to younger consumers, the website was designed to be fully responsive for mobile with strong image-led design to cross-sell products and promote the lifestyle aspect. An 'Inspire Me' section was introduced to allow customers to share items easily on social media.
