Project Clients: Lawn Tennis Association
999 were appointed to create the first Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and Quorn partnership campaign to run across a number of initiatives during 2015.
The brief was to create a new visual and campaign identity for the launch of the ‘Quorn Family Tennis Cup’ - a brand new family focused tournament to encourage families to play together in a fun, energetic competition.
999 have enjoyed a successful partnership with LTA since 2011 – launching various campaigns in previous years to ignite the nation’s love of tennis including the rebrand of Mini Tennis and the launch of Cardio Tennis.
As this was the first campaign for the LTA / Quorn partnership, the challenge was to align the two brands seamlessly while ensuring that the creative elements were a perfect complement to the current TVC featuring Mo Farah.
To encapsulate the fun, sporting nature of the competition and to fit with the LTA family of other branded programmes, a simple badge logo was designed to appeal to kids and parents alike with enough flexibility for various applications.
The visual identity made the most of Quorn’s bold colour palette to give the branding standout and distinction amongst other tennis tournaments.
999 designed a range of campaign materials including starter packs for clubs, posters, sign up sheets and round robin forms. A variety of email and social media assets were created with supporting brand guidelines to ensure consistency of application.
Lisa Grace, 999 Design's Design Director said:
It was vital the competition felt fun and accessible to families. The vibrant, colourful visual identity brings the partnership between LTA and Quorn to life while broadening the appeal of tennis and encouraging people to lead an active lifestyle.
