Part of the Robertson Group, Robertson Homes has been building luxury new homes for over fifty years in prime locations across Scotland and the North East of England.


When Robertson approached 999 in 2017, their website and brand neither reflected their values or showcased the quality of their developments. The CMS was difficult to administrate, and the site’s confusing information hierarchy made it difficult for users to accomplish basic actions.

Our Approach

We created a luxurious, retail-inspired design and brand identity to place Robertson's customer-focused ethos centre stage. A restructure of the information hierarchy made it easier for homebuyers to search for and find their ideal property.


The website not only offers a visually appealing user experience, it also integrates with Robertson’s sales database. This allows newly released plots and house sales to dynamically update on the website as well as capture customer data via contact forms.

Brand identity

To give the brand and website a more considered, premium look and feel, we created a new, flexible messaging and identity system around the words ‘Home To…’ to allow Robertsons to compete effectively within the luxury retail property space.


Within three months there was an increase of over 1,200% (247,831 vs 18,857) in site visits across all developments. Actions such as brochure downloads and contact form completions rocketed. Overall, the sales teams reported that the quality of leads had improved, with more people buying homes having visited the website than ever before.
